[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of those local places that I like to return to several times over the course of the year. Alexander Creek near Hope, BC is a lovely little creek which runs through some lush forest and features numerous little waterfalls.
The surrounding vegetation stays green all year round and rarely sees any sunlight due to the narrowness of the valley it's in; making for some great even light shots even in sunny weather.

Hello Tim,
Good photo and composition.
TFS.
Mehmet

Looks like the melt-down is well on its way Tim...I just received some images from the mountains W of Grand Forks...rivers are rising pretty fast already. Another month and the majority will be either going slowly or flooding...Nicely done...the power of H20 yes?

Hi Tim,

Lovely composition! I really like the wet leaf in the foreground, it just adds that little bit "something".. Nice colours!

Hi Tim,
Good sideway composition of the waterfall with this nice dead leaf in the foreground and the wet and moss covered rocks behind.
very good light and exposure.
Well done and TFS

Technically this is really well done, Tim. I personally prefer a slightly faster shutter speed but must admit this is interesting. The static parts of the image are super sharp. I love the rocks and mosses.

Hi Tim,
it has been a while since I last popped in on you but today I see this photo and I'm quite taken with it.It is so very organic and alive and eye pleasing to say the very least.I have alway liked mosses and water flowing over rock and this photo has both of those features. The use of f/18 gives an enormous field of depth to this shot and make me feel as if I'm actually there and well done for that and as a plus the colours are so true and clean.Great looking photo,Tim and I am glad you shared it with us. Tim, Lovely spot and lovely work with the exposure, I know some places that I must try some shots like this.

Ciao Tim,
mi piace molto questa tua immagine, che riesce a trasmettere una sensazione di pace ed armonia.
Splendido il contrasto fra il bianco candido dell'acqua, resa soffice dalla lunga esposizione, e il verde muschio sulle rocce circostanti.
Grazie,
Marcello

What an outstanding capture this is, the colours are amazing, and the overall sharpness of the image is perect. Very high quality work,
