The snow has finally cleared from the valley bottom, so it was time for me to return to Alexander creek near Hope, BC to see what I could find in the way of waterfalls.
I ventured up a bit further than I have in the past and came across a lovely little section of small waterfalls; this scene being one of them.
A Circular Polarizer helped bring down the shutter speed a bit (0.5 seconds), which is about the slowest that I like to go, as half a second still captures the character of the flowing water without making it a blurry blob.
Post Production:
Nothing major other than bringing up the shadows in curves, a bit of saturation boost, and a luminance boost to make the foliage pop a bit more.

Hello Billy. The waterfall looks really refreshing by keeping it at low shutter. I like the sharpness and the color of the light falling on the green moss. Regards. Jusni

Good seeing your work Tim...I have missed it during the winter months! Nice shot...of course..

Hi Tim

Such a calm shot, relaxing. very nice composition and perfect POV and exposure.
Well done

very nice exposure & light...

Hi Billy!

I like the pov very much, that the leftmost water line is aligned to the frame. Colors and the overall atmosphere are very fine. TFS
(Let me note you chose b&w for medium instead of color.)

Best regards,

Hello Tim

A lovely posting of these twin waterfalls. The cascading water is beautiful, and it looks like it is flowing down two sets of stairs.
The exposure is well done, and the water has a wonderful fluidity and silky look.
Great low POV,the focus is razor sharp.

Again, amazing job here. Perfect exposure, the scene just appears so soft! Great composition, everything is perfectly in focus as well. Great job!
