[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on the same day as my previous post, and about 10 minutes down the ridge...recognize the clouds?
This heather blooms in July and August and often is found in large patches such as this one. There were an awful lot of bees in the meadow too, so I had to be careful not getting stung.
Again, I didn't like the confines of the small size pic here, so once again I offer a larger size below:

Wonderful scenery. The clouds certainly have a great impact. Love the meadow but wish the colors were more saturated.

An absolutely gorgeous scene, Tim.
Beautiful compositio of this mountain and meadow scenery.
The colors are just stunning.
The clouds really add to the visual impact.

Hi Tim. I love the foreground field of heather. The color up through the midground conifers is nice. It looks really natural, while the mountains and sky have a somewhat unnatural blue green cast. I wouldn't know why. I like the way the clouds recede into the far distance.
