|My last post was a snap of the second move in the goldeneye's mating dance and here I follow through with the final move. The coup de gras of the goldeneye's mating display is this, the extreme elongation of the neck. Unfortuantly I didn't get a good shot of the first move but I will try for it next year.|

spring has arrived and with it the mating season. Very nice capture the male gives you a striking pose, mind you the female seems not to be impressed ;-). Colors are wonderful and the sharpness is good, maybe a little larger DOF would have been of advantage.
you have capture a nice action of this male, I have a smilar post here.
It's a bit OE and the focus is a bit soft but still a nice picture. I like the pose and POV.
