|A scene from the cross-country ski area in the mountains of the north shore of Vancouver. It was a very misty day and there was a light snow.|
I like the contrast here of the brightly painted bamboo trail marker poles and the heavily snow covered trees. Keeping an eye on things are a pair of Whiskey Jacks (grey jays). I'll have a picture of them close-up soon. Here they are just part of the overall ambience.
I'm not satisfied with the whites here - they seem to be a more underwater greenish. I had set my white balance to cloudy. Guess I'll have to study that chapter a bit more.

Very nice capture.Colors,POV,details,lighting,
framing and composition are wonderful.TFS...:-)
I really like this photo. Not a scene one sees everyday. It's a really effective composition of both shape and color. I think the greenish cast could be removed in pp. I tried it in a workshop.
Sorry, no time for a decent comment, but definitely worth a ;-)
Excellent shot here. It almost looks duo tone with the red painted in. The composition and framing of this in the portrait mode look great. Very well done!
Amazing POV. I like the underwater greenish color of the photo. It makes it more a serene photo. I also like the contract of the red trail marker poles
