(Dances) Walks with wolves on the snow II
Grey Wolf
Canis Lupus

You can see this wolf here and here.
I took this photo at the Ecomuseum.
The enclosure of wolves is rather vast so that they can walk. When they make it, they pass regularly in the same place. It is not easy to photograph a subject in movement, even if he does not fly!
I used a monopod.
I hope yo like him.

Quelle maitrise de la lumière dans cette situation contrastée! Magnifique.

Photo fantastique. La pose du loup est superbe. A-t-il vu quelquechose ?

Another nice wolf Luc, you must have no end of snow up there! We've had a little and already I am tired of it. Good shot here, nice composition and it looks like the wolf is stalking. Very good.

Very good Luc.
You handle the exposure very well.
Good details, composition and colours.
Very well done.

Great shot Luc, I'd like to see some here in Germany.
Well done.

Hey Luc!
I never saw such pretty snow like on your picture!!!!! I can't do photos with snow, and I think on TN nobody do is so good like you!

Beautiful. Its pose, its eyes, its movement. Perfect animal. And surprisingly snow is good in this case :-)

My Friend from the cold white north!
Yes, it is bad when work and other stuff interferes with ones hoby, passon and life in gerneral. I wish I could spend more time and lok ate every thing. I do not even get time to read the comments others make anymore. I read your note to gerhard about the lady who who had finger trouble with her camera on her trip here.
Let me tell you, I do not believe there is anything that can really prepare you for what you can see in this country, if you know where and when to go. It is so different fron NAm and Europe, because we see so many pics of these places in the media everyday, but Sa is a country most people only know of by hear say.
If you ever get the chance . . .
These wolves are beautiful - compare them with the ugly critter Gerhard has posted. Sleek and docile looking. BTW, get that video and watch it - one of the best you will ever see - and here is the scary part - this guy Pieter? Joubert gets out of his car and photograph them with sweet nothing between him and the lions but freash air. And this sometimes as near as 6 m.
But I get carried away - love your dogs, they are beautiful, this one has a submissive body language, I think.
Thanks for taking time to look.

Luc, Very nice shot with the wolf in his head-down approach posture. Excellent exposure & composition also. Well done!!

It's a beauty, Luc. I love the wolves. You can post wolves forever and I will not tire of them, old friend. It a exceptional POV and perfect exposure in the snow. Great shot. Well done.
