In West Vancouver there is a seaside park with a fresh water pond which seems to be home to many of the duck varieties and some swans. I came along just in time to witness the Golden Eye ducks in mid mating dance and displays it is quit the sight to see. First they through their heads back to their back then they jut forward to do this display. The next step will be seen in my next post it is a good sight as well. I hope you all enjoy. |

Hi Craig,
you captured a nice action of the Golden Eye, it use to continue with a kick with the legs and splash water meters away.
The picture is a bit soft but i like the compo and the POV.
Well done.

Hi Craig,
This is amazing. This is what I am looking for. Interaction between animals, mating dances, interestig behavior.
This action is amazing. Great composition and colors. Good details.
TFS!!!
A Favorite!
Hi Craig,
Great behaviour captured here! The image is a little soft and a greater DOF would have benifited this image but I know how quickly these things happen. TFS.
Regards,
Carl
