Lightning over Mountain
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
That was quite the storm, lots of lightning, wind and rain. This is towards the end of thr storm.
Lightning isnt as easy to capture as alot of you probably know. and to have it go down both sides of "sugarloaf" was unexpected but welcomed. |

Hi Justin
What a huge bold of lightening you captured! Mother Nature can really dish it out. Nice detail, and colours.

Fabulous. You luck in timing is impressive. Way to go!
I love the purple in the sky and the composition is superb!
great shot. i love photographing lighting. im sure you know how to do it as we can plainly see. here is how i catch it. i find a good spot with the view i want. i watch the sky and watch for patterns in when lighting the strikes. i have found that some times it will strike at certain intervals. say every 15 or 20 seconds in a good storm. i wait for a strike then i count to just before i think it might strike the hold the shutter open with a shutter release cable. great job.
