|The birds at Qualicum Beach are amusing to watch.|
I don't know the name of this bird, black with bright red beaks, but they keep away from the white sea gulls.
What do I like about this image?
The way the bird on the rock fits into the profile of the hill behind it, the way the lower bird is nearly hidden in the shadows, and the strong bands of blue from the hills of Lasqueti Island.
