Hello Rick,
Very nice capture of this Canadian calling and taking off! Excellent sharpness and I really like the bull rush in the bakground. Excellent composition! - I like these geese a lot although they're often regarded as unwanted invaders.

Hello Rick,
Nice action shot of a Canada Goose taking off. This is sharp and set in and excellent comp. with fine BG of bullrushes.
Great to see a shot of this species in its native land. They should not have been introduced into Europe.

Stunning - the composition is really strong - plus sharp. The heads of the bullrushes add an excellent vertical element. The goose stands out well against the buff BG.

...and we look up to see them arriving for the winter. My fifth graders always memorized the poem, "Something told the Wild Geese" it was time to go. Though the fields lay golden, something whispered snow... etc etc More of them seem to have decided to stay year round but it's still a thrill to see the "V's" arriving with their honking. It's enough to give one goosebumps...uh sorry!

This is another nice sharp image. I like the cattails in the background and the soft winter colors. Perhaps a sliver off the top would make it feel less like he is too close to the bottom????

A delightful scene, Rick.
The details on the Canada Goose are very sharp, and you caught him in a great action pose, wings out, beak open, tongue wagging!
