|For Hiking lovers !|
Make the most of this hiking paradise. Parc national de la Gaspésie has 140 km of hiking trails, 110 km of which are part of the Appalachian International Trail. The Ernest-Laforce trail is unique because you can reach two thirds of it by car. People of all ages can enjoy the view of the park's magnificent sea of mountains!
Here , the Lac aux Americains. A very spectacular lake. A nice walk up to the lake. The mountains are making a giant amphiteatre with a horse shoe shape. The light by the end of the afternoon enters the valley .
Note these mountains are often covered with snow until the end of June!
From this lake you can continue your ascension to Xanadu and Jacques-Cartier Mountains.
Get acquainted with the woodland caribou. The Gaspésie herd is the only representative of this species south of the Saint Lawrence, and the status of the remaining genetically distinct population is precarious. Learn more about this magnificent cervid and even have a chance to observe it, through the wide range of activities offered by the Parc national de la Gaspésie. Measures have also been taken to provide visitors with information about how to keep disturbance of this endangered species to a minimum.

The place looks fantastic. Excellent composition. I feel there is too much colour saturation, and the foreground dead wood is over-exposed. I posted a WS with an alternative treatment of this otherwise very nice and inspiring photo. See if you like it.

Hey Robert, excelent view of this scene. Well done on the composition.
Just slight overexposure in the foreground. Colors and midtones etc. are excelent.
The workshop done for you helped abit on the overexposure.
What's good about this image is that you have two in one, the foreground and the mountains. Good eye.

Nice shot. I agree that the foreground is a bit oversaturated but lovely composition.
Robert, I agree with the others that the foreground is alittle overexposed. But the scenery is breathtaking. A very beautiful landscape.
