He loves macros, he loves macros not
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This bee or bee-like insect appeared to be resting on this daisey as I took the opportunity to take a few shots. Another experiment here with the combination of a 40-150mm Zuiko lens and a Cokin P101 close-up lens. Shot from just over 2 feet away on manual focus. |
DOF is quite shallow with the P101; similar to that of an extension tube I would guess.
This is about a 25% crop (75% of the original).

Tim from the composition and subject point of view nice shot but slightly out of focus. But the contrast of the bee and the flower is very attractive. TFs ganesh
Looks like you're having fun with the Cokin lense. :) Great macro. And lovely color - you got that white in the daisy right on! :)
Angy, like my mother, calls everything similar a daisy. Prolly right....and what have we..something bothering my shot? A bee? Well let's just say he got caught in the taking of a flower picture. Scene hog.
Nice capture. Fine lens. Gives me pause to come back for round two?:-) Oh yes...the title is too cool.

This is really wonderful. I actually like the shallow DOF, it makes for a more artistic look. Details are superb, and he composition perfect. The fact that you got the bee on the daisy is awesome.
