[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For years a family of beavers has made their summer home beneath one of the docks in the local marina. We often see them in the evenings. I watched this one foraging in the weeds along the base of the sea wall and then later he dragged a rather large leafy branch to his lodge hidden beneath the dock, presumably as a night time snack for the family.

Hi shelley. good shot of the Beaver.good detail in the wet fur. and in the eye. nice colours. it looks like he is going some were fast. well done TFs.

A pesar de haber zonas desenfocadas la fotografía es muy interesante porque el agua parece tener movimiento. Muy bien captada la expresión del animal al nadar. Saludos Shelley.

I love this shot! You have the wake he leaves behind as he swims forward, great detail of the eye, not to mention the ears, and I dare say texture when I look at his wet fur. Very well done. I'm still trying for my shot at a beaver!

hi shelley,

you re lucky seeing beavers so close.i m always too far away to make beautiful pictures like yours.i like beavers!!
