While I was snapping a photo of a white lily, I was being watched by this gardener snake.
After getting a half-dozen ho-hum pics of the flowers, I stood up and saw this reptile staring as it lay atop a blackberry branch (the berries aren't yet ripe, they're green in this image).
I wonder if the camera's IR focusing lamp make him jittery. |

Hello John,
You've captured the snake in a wonderful pose, stare at you and with it's chin on the blackberry.
Composition with the diagonal line of the snake is excellent and I love the natural surrounding you've gought the snake in.
Just would like to have seen a little more contrast, color saturation and sharpness in the image.
