[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Mash Wren was singing his little heart out, apparently oblivious to me standing just a few away. Dozens of Marsh Wrens were nesting in this one small area -- about 5 acres of estuary marsh full of cattails and eel grass, and he wanted to make sure they all knew this was his territory. This one had a nest in this tree, but most Mash Wrens build their nests in cattails or bullrushes, making everal 'dummy' nests to confuse predators.

Beautiful pose and lightning of the wren in this photo. However I think you have over sharpened it a bit. For me a bit soft is better....

Best regards/Bengt Falke

Hi Shelley,

A beautiful capture of this lovely little Marsh Wren - one that we do not have here. I just love singing birds and this one is adorable. Beautiful colors, excellent details, and a lovely setting.

Hi Shelley!
What a nice pose, details and light, and what a singer!
TFS, José M.

Very nice singing pose/POV and natural setting of this wren.
Good lighting and color.
I also notice something in the bird image as Bengt Falke mentioned that is a bit off.
Othewise very nice.

Hello Shelley,
What a brilliant capture of this wonderful little Wren singing away. I love its pose, details are sharp (maybe oversharpened a bit) and colours natural. Very fine composition!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Good capture but botched in photoshop (maybe). A good note.

Hello Shelley,
Great capture of this singing wren.
Love the way the bird is natural framed by the twigs and leaf.
Wonderful details in the feathers, light, catch light in the eye and soft background.
Sharpness and exposure are spot on.
Excellent work.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Harry

bonjour shelley

Asbed

Great pose and open beak gives dynamism to your wren Shelley. Best, Brat.
