Thanks for the comments on my Fairy Prince moth. Here are his pots of gold, as promised.
The common name for these is actually Pixie Cups. I'm not sure, but I believe they are a type of fungus, as opposed to False Pixie Cups which are a type of lichen. I don't know the Latin name for Pixie Cups -- my library of field manuals does not include one on fungi, something I shall have to remedy. I tried a Google search but all I got was reams of references to the False Pixie Cups (Cladonia pyxidata).

I did a bit of post processing on this image -- the 'coins' are actually spore packets and are naturally a dark brown color, but they looked so much like pots of gold that I just had to play with the color a bit.

Hi Shelley,
An amazing type of fungus which goes with the title "GOLD POTS" Very nice details , POV and Composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sympathique photo très décorative.
Bonne journée.

"Pots of gold" is the perfect nomenclature for this species of fungii, Shelley.
This is a brilliant capture of two of them. The "coins" look almost real!
Thanks for looking at my recent picture and writing your critique on it.
Thanks and take care.

Never seen this before. Never knew it exist. I'd like to find some too. {Alternativelly a really pot of gold would do too]
