Juniper Haircap Moss (Polytrichum juniperinum). The field manual called these 'flowers' "short reddish bristle-points". They occur on the ends of some moss stems, but not all, and apparently have nothing to do with reproduction, since these mosses also get sporophytes. I just liked the abstract shapes and the fractal geometry.

This is a great capture of this particular flower!
I like the composition made here, with the use of the DOF and all that blurred plants surrounding the subject.
The only nit would be the slight noise visible at the background.
