How Sandpiper catches flies 2
Recently I was able to take a series of pictures showing haw the Sandpiper catches flies.
When the bird sees the pray she starts acting almost like a cat. She bends her knees and moves very slowly toward the pray, with all her body very tense, ready to strike.
These are the third and forth (in workshop) pictures showing the bird with the fly in her beak.
Done at Osprey Marsh, a little park 10 minutes drive from my home.

Hi Mario. very good detail in the feathers and nice colours . you have made good use of the light. good timing to get it with the fly. well done TFs. good notes too.
Have a good weekend.
Thanks for the follow up Mario.
I'm glad you already told me what would happen next because othrwise I would'nt have falled asleep last night :)
These two are as beautiful as the previous ones you did upload.
All four of them would make a great series in panoramic form.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend,
Good capture of this moment. The focus is right on. Good details on the bird and nice BG with the soft blue water. Just to bad for the green branch on the lower right corner, but when a moment like this arrives, you take it! Nice work.
Good timing and well seen moment. Very clear image even the fly is clearly seen. Good job and interesting notes.
