What Caspian Terns can do in the air

The Caspian Terns are back at Osprey Marsh! In the spring there were two. Now there are two pairs and two young ones. I watched them fling and fishing. Their flying skills are amazing. I will try to show in the next posts what they can do in the air.
This third picture shows one of the Terns ready to dive in late evening light.
Thanks for looking!

Hello Mario,
Another great capture with wonderful in flight pose of the Tern.
Great lighting and I just love the most wonderful warm color tones in the feathers.
Composition is perfect and the soft blue sky very pleasing.
Excellent work again.
Thanks for sharing and the good note.
Best wishes,
Harry

The sun and your perfect exposure has given you some beautiful and warm color tones. Another dramatic pose. Excellent sharpness and perfect composition. This is a great series.

Hello Mario

When I see these beautiful shots of this Tern you are posting, they remind me of someone really getting into their classical music and playing the conductor.A wonderful composition with lovely colours. The pose is excellent.TFS

Wow Mario, what a pose and you've positioned it perfectly. He almost looks like he's taking a bow in mid-air. Very nicely done.

Thanks, John

Hi Mario, sorry I haven't been around much to critique your photos, I see you have been busy. This one is a superb shot catching the Tern about to dive, the pose is both graceful and dramatic. Great close up and nice and sharp with lovely detail, light and colours. Great work.
