[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Barn Owl (Tyto alba) or, to distinguish it from relatives, Common Barn Owl, is an owl in the barn owl family Tytonidae. This is one of the two groups of owls, the other being the typical owls Strigidae. Any member of the family Tytonidae is sometimes referred to as a barn owl. The Barn Owl is the most widely distributed species of Tytonidae, and one of the most widespread species of any bird.

A phenominal close-up of this barn owl. I love the colors and the detail. Good work.

Hello Elton!

A nice shot, with good composition, POV, DOF and colour. But, IMHO, is over-lit on face. TFS.

A beautiful species.... they seem to be peppered.
Wonderful close-up - there's expression in the bird's eyes. Nice detail in the face and feather. Good dof. :)

Hello Elton
the portrait of this diurnal raptor is very successful.
Details of the small feathers, and the expression passivates bird, are well returned by a good clearness
