[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On this date, Waterton Townsite was already mostly boarded up, with very few people in the park, so we had the place practically all to ourselves. This is the best time of year: without throngs of tourists, and businesses closed, deer are roaming the streets of the townsite (my son took this shot here right in town in front of the RCMP station).
This picture was actually taken at the edge of town. I had to circle around this buck to get a pov without lamp posts, parking lot etc. I was lucky with this shot, though I did clone out a lamp post in the bg.
It is the same buck as in this shot my wife Christan posted on LT here.

what a nice big buck, otto, and so close, or zoomed and cropped? *g* at least he does not look so mean as the buffalo.
i really like the natural surrounding, the green grass he is resting on and the trees behnd him - where was the lamppost?

this is a very good looking capture of this buck,he sure looks peaceful.To clone or not to that is the question,I for one wouldn't but you did such a good job of it,I can not tell just where that post was.You have good colour,detail and focus bring this big boy to life.Tfs. Bob
