Hi John, you're very funny to get so close to these animals and give us those fantastic photos! He may have given you the eye and you're lucky he stayed with that... great picture, I like the soft background and those horns are always so photogenic! Well seen John, thank you,

Well there is a unique expression. I posted a ram earlier this year and titled it "His Majesty". It obviously had a completely different demeanor. This is great. These guys sure look better this time of year rather than when they are shedding. Perhaps a bit off the top and right side would feel a bit better to me... hard to say just why... maybe it feels a little more deliberate rather than you just didn't quite tilt the camera low enough... if I am making any sense at all.... !

Great capture - the light is lovely and the pose exceptional. The 'wild-eye' really makes the shot for me.

This is a fine portrait of an impressive animal!
DOF spot on gives fine details in the animal, nicely blurred background...
A well balanced composition!

Hi John, this guy has kind of a saucy look to him, not just with the eye but with that tongue too. Very clear detail with excellent colour in this shot. Well done.

Great capture John, I can even see that he needs to floss. Excellent camera as usual.

A beautiful capture of this big Horn Ram.I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a head butt from this fellow.
Excellent timing and focus.
The POV and DOF are super.
The OOF BG makes a wonderful back drop for this guy.
Wonderful camera work under pressure.
