A lonely Winter Day

Sailor might be a pretty big understatement:-) but the shot isn't. It says quite a bit about winter around the great lakes. I have gone through many a weeks of deep depression back east in Ohio during winter. Unlike SADDS, I was depressed because it was a hard few weeks making a living at news photography...drives to assignments too on a whole new meaning...have to have it on my desk...scared me when I heard those words...so to me...yes..I think I may have somewhere a few pics similar to this taken back in theearly 1970's...you pass along the mood real well in the conversion...well I have said enough to not cheer you, so go grab a small glass of sherry and sit down to some quiet music...

Hi Donna and Happy New Year
Burrrr! This image really shows the wrath of winter. The blowing snow gives me chills. You sure captured this winter scene well.
That's amazing your great aunt is 100, wow it's a real milestone for sure. I wonder if she will get a letter from the queen?

Fine image and a good choice for black and white. The nasty storms are delaying your reunion with your Captain, Dang.
Thanks for this lovely stormy image.

Some days of winter can be very difficult account of the weather, today in the Montreal area it is cold -20 to -24C. Your photo show that kind of weather with the blowing snow and another for loliness, every one stays inside. Well done, thanks for sharing.
