[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was watching for Great Egrets near Big Lake, Alberta, which is just on the oustskirts of St. Albert. I noticed this Northern Harrier working a line of Willows where the Egrets were nesting. The Harrier flew into shadow, and I stayed with him, panning and just as he broke into the light I grabbed a few images. I like the light on the leading edges of his wings.
