Hi Asbed
A lovely composition and dedication- the stray branches add a touch of lightness to the scene.
Best wishes

The duotone conversion gives this one a great look Ashbed, I like it.
Artfully composed..It turned out well :)

I think at first glance..what strikes me first, beyond the mention of me, and the black and white...is the composition. There is something about the way you used this for thecolour tones which really make it a dynamic image. It is one of those I think I shall be coming back to...
I am not familiar with the science of composition as it is taught. I only know what is good for me when I see it...and this is just how I would have pictured it....the simplicity of the bird ...yet it sticks out well without a deep blue sky or some such...and the creatively simple perch angled in at an exact location. You seem to be gaining an eye for some things...and it is working well...so needless to say I am happy. And beyond that I thank you very much. When I am feeling good, then many feel good...and so one...I wish we could have world peace such as this TN yes?

Hi Asbed,
This is such a beautiful composition!! Even in black and white the Wood Duck is beautiful. The pose on the branch is wonderful. Nice sharp details. I'm sure Bob loved it.

chapeau bas mon ami,
Pat
