Well, this is one of the first captures in this sequence. And last one here on TN. This Lady Fox has to be a very successful hunter these days, she has a good reason for that. So she visits all the bird feeders in the Botanical Garden, looking under them for squirrels who collect the seeds dropped by the birds. Her tactics is surprise and speed. She has no ability to climb trees, the only way to catch a squirrel is by surprise. She has no time to hide herself and wait for an opportunity, so she is running from afar at high speed. And she succeeds...
By the way, we were running together (by parallel paths) from the previous bird feeder, where she was'nt so lucky.

Hi Eugene! Perfect shot of hunting! Dance Macabre.. I like your title. It shows contrast between those two animals. Also, I like the way you took it. Composition and color balance - excellent!
Great sharpness. All the best :-)

Well that is a once in a lifetime capture... at least it would be for me. Wonderful quick work...on the run. My husband just left the room shaking his head!! : ) He can't get over it. : )

Hello Eugene,

Another excellent shot in this series.
Although, and I did say this before, it's pity for the squirrel, this is what wildlife is all about. Eat and being eaten.
Perfect technical details again Eugene.
You've really done a superb job here. TFS!!!

Cheers, Harry

The shot tell the story itself, nice and punctual timing, the composition is great and could capture the details, I feel sorry for the squirrel, but thats a cycle of life
