Hi Rick
Well at least you got a great shot, but the other "ass" got nought by the sound of it.
He gave you a good show-off for your trouble and thus enhanced the value of the capture. It is great to see both the male and female in their natural habitat and that spectacular display of the male is really something to behold.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Rick.
Nice photo of this beautiful Wild Turkeys. I like them a lot, we have some here up in the mountains, but are a easy prey for Cougars.
Great photo. Tell Lucy she is right. jeje.

I sure had a good laugh at your note, Rick!
I totally understand what you mean too about the males being dumb-asses.... To think all his effort wasn't even attracting the female too....
Very nice capture of these wild birds in their natural habitat. Glad he didn't end up road kill....

Hi Rick, what a great shot, to see the turkey in full bloom and colouration, excellent composition. Your DoF enhances the birds very well helping to give great definition to the feathers, TFS regards h.

Hi Rick,
even after the almost hit, this male is still showing off. Guess it does not want to loose the momentum ;-).
Great shot, wonderful action and a lot of detail to be seen.

Wow! That is a display!
Look at the size difference between male and female!!!
Very nice image.
Excellent composition and POV.
Sharp and crisp.
Great notes too.
Lucky this Turkey was clever enough to get away from the car... pheasants just stop dead... and then usually are dead!
Great work Rick.

Very impressive display indeed of its tail and you have captured it perfectly. Amazing colours, markings and details and the wild Turkey stands out from those dried grasses well. Very neat and sharp image with a great angle and a well chosen POV. Very nicely composed too. Kudos.
