As much as i love the mum and little one in sharp focus, i love that Bg...and infact the moment i opened this photo amiong the first thing that struck me was the bg.The dark muted Bg works extremely well to put the focus on mum and the child.The details on the birds are very fine and the connect created well by those eyes.Good colours and an extremely fine PoV.

ici nous avons le grebe huppé qui est un tres bel oiseau,les petits se ressemble.
la prise donne l'impression que vous étes au ras de l'eau comme avec un affut flottant,en avez vous utilisé un ou est-ce fait du 500mm couplé au convertisseur?
