[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello All,
I have just returned from a short absence and was greatly looking forward to getting back to TrekNature and the many friends I have made here. This site has always till now been such a friendly group of INSPIRING photographers. Coming from diverse backgrounds and coming together with passion for nature and photography. I have learned more things about this natural world from an amazing array of people young (Joe) and old (Pablo), from one side of the world (Paul) to my own backyard (Rob). But now I see things happening I do not care for FRIENDS being punished and removed for WHAT. Being to tired to do a proper critique, needing to spend time with family. Maybe the rules should change not the devoted members that supply us with superb images, notes and help. To all my friends here or missing, I, with GREAT sadness am going to stop posting here until things return to normal and my friends are finished their punishment. I Believe Greatly in Freedom of Speech and I feel it is being stepped on here as postings and forums are going missing. PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR POSITION ON THESE MATTERS.

NO POINTS PLEASE
BLESS YOU ALL.

A little out of focus but the image is very well presented, lovely positioning of the bear cub and nice natural feel to the pic.

Well done great capture just the quality isnt good enough

Hi Rick,
Excellent capture of this young bear with good pose and composition, sharp details, good DOF and BG. As far as I know this unfair action by the administration has now ended.

Oh my goodness. You too!? Do you think a boycott will do any good?? Do you know something other than what I told you? I'm afraid if we all quit for a while many will just not return. Oh my... what to do????????????????

Love your little baby bear.

Hi Rick,
this is a very good looking photo for the light conditions and the speed of the camera's shutter with a nice softness making the young bear look all that more innocent. The bear is lost and so is one of the best photographers this site has known and I wish I knew why.I, as you know plan on doing more uploads in September as I am concentrating on getting photos and have very little time for servicing TN and other things take up much time as well.I hope to see Rob back here as his notes and photos were always first class and the thought of him being gone doesn't make my day.I hope we all continue on posting but maybe a break is needed to recharge. When we all get back to an even keel, just wait and see even better photos will be the order of the day.I'm still around and will be until I run out of material or things to say but that is a long ways off,I hope.Take care and Rick, thanks for sharing this photo and your words,See you in September. Bob

Well said Rick

Hi Rick,

Good composition. I like the eye contact of the cub. The light is softer and shows the animal in its natural environment. Despite a long exposure time, the cub is quite focused.

I hope to see you again on TN because your advice is always appreciated, especially the discussion we had on the grizzly, since I came face to face (20 feets) with a adult when I turning the corner of a cabin, near Kluane park, Yukon.

Hi Rick,
I agree with you, I not understand punishment, with an advertence is sufficient. We lost some of the better friend and photographers in TN last days, but I´m seeing in last year there was a silent lost or minor participation of some members.
A cute and sad image at same time, appropiate to this moment
Regards
Hernán

Hi Rick,
I have just come back form a 2.5 week holiday in Spain and now see that I can critique again! Also everything seems to have cooled down a bit now so I will be posting again.

This is a very fine photo of this cute little Bear.
Very good composition.

Well done,
Joe

Missed this beauty...Are they not fun? I ran across a couple back on the property...no camera...but I was safely ensconced in my 4x4...momma looked very protective!
Bob

I shall honor your request and not use points, but the title and message are heart-rendering. Both say a lot...
