|This was taken from a canoe looking towards the shore of Lake Superior. The water is a beautiful colour, as you can see at the bottom of the photo. You can open your eyes while swimming and be able to see everything clearly. (You can't do that in the ocean or your eyes will fall out of your head from all of the salt), which is why I love Lake Superior. |

The water is indeed beautiful color. You wouldn't be swimming in the ocean out here anyway. You'd die of hypothermia before you ever got your eyes wet! Does Lake Superior warm up to swimming temps. i the summer? I love all the rich color and clarity in your image. Very nice.

Hi again Tiina
Your canoe trips have given us many amazing landscapes over time and this is definitely a great addition to them.
This is actually a rather simple scene, but taken in an excellent way and in terrific timing. The resulted layers of colors and textures are simply outstanding!
The polarizer gave away to some great details under the water, the bright rocks on the shore contrast well with the dark blue water, the colors of the leaves are gorgeous and finally the white bark of the trees looks lovely against a darker area behind.
Overall, a superb composition!
Bravo and TFS
