It might be 'just' a cardinal to you but it is also a cardinal in a summer setting (see Gary's Junco shot). With -30 (feels like -40) temperatures outside the window, a Cardinal shot taken in the summer does wonders :)
Anyways, I think you've captured this one quite well. You've got a good pose, composition and interesting lighting. Very nice work Eugene, TFS.

What a fine light you have captured in your photo. The warm light has given very nice and saturated colors. Together with the very good sharpnes of the image you have made a very good photo. Bird and perch are shown very nicely with good details.
