Good capture ! This is a nice kind of bg too.
BTW, I'll be in Quebec in mid July(remember you told me I should head up North when I last was in Mass. ?). I am hoping to shoot quite a few north american insects then.

Hi Mike, nice shot. Good details here, DOF selected well. You may find that they will bask on the ground under a certain ambient temperature, when the heat is ample then they will use the perches more often. Nice composition, almost B&W! Well done.

It's a nice macro with good details and good DOF. The exposure is good too. I like the unnatural BG a little bit less. Well done & TFS!
