hello friends, here it is another photo from
my archives, this time from early spring 2008,
of this same Robin i have already posted
a photo in early spring 2008, i still have
another photo that i will post one day
when i will be out of new photos

from All About Birds website :

http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/american_robin/id

« The quintessential early bird, American Robins
are common sights on lawns across North America,
where you often see them tugging earthworms out of
the ground. Robins are popular birds for their warm
orange breast, cheery song, and early appearance at
the end of winter. Though they’re familiar town
and city birds, American Robins are at home in
wilder areas, too, including mountain forests
and Alaskan wilderness. »

Merci

Asbed

Bonsoir Asbed,

Les branches cadrent bien l'oiseau. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les couleurs et les détails du merle d'Amérique qui picore les fruits. L'intensité de la lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Pierre

Hi Asbed,
Outstanding shot!! Like something you'd see in the National Geographic.
Amazingly clear and sharp, well composed and focused too.
A truly impressive capture.
TFS and have a nice night MF!

Hi Asbed,

I love it!!! You captured this Robin in the most fantastic position on the flower which I don't recognize but love its looks. The colors are deep and rich. The bird is marvelous with excellent details of the face, eye, beak, feathers and plumage. Really outstanding. No Robins here - I only get to see them when I visit the family in Colorado.

Jane

Asbed friend,

Your files also store full of pleasant surprises colors and good technique! ... photos are definitely "more sensitive" to those "formidable storms of action and movement" to which you have accustomed us! ... excellent POV lights and a well managed despite the angle. As always, good job!

Jesús

Now you're really talking serious nature Asbed..this is one of your tops once more..You keep outdoing yourself! And there is almost a late summer early fall look to it as well!

Hi Asbed,

Bonjour Asbed,
What a great shot from your archives! A fine sharp capture of an American Robin in breeding plumage, the rear POV and feeding pose providing an unusual view that includes most of its features. The blue sky BG and framing with the branches is great too.
Merci pour le partage,
Amicalement,
Ivan

Wow is the word, Asbed! The great point of view you got, gave you a very nice and rare shot of this beautiful bird - the underbelly and the wings' underside can be clearly seen. I like the way it is bending its head. Just wish this small twig was not there in the foreground. But at times, you can not help that.

Your shot has good lighting, amazing clarity and details of your beautiful model. Thanks for sharing!
