hello friends, my previous 2 photos the birds
flight it is vertically to the unlimited sky,
on this photo this woodpecker's flight it is
horizontally, he was passing over my head

i just want to tell that i shoot my photo in RAW
and with my Fujifilm bridge camera in RAW
i can only shoot one photo at the time and then
i have to wait 2 - 3 seconds to can shoot again,
i wish one day i will have a DSLR
and can shoot 3 to 5 photos in 1 second

from All About Birds wbesite :

« Color Pattern
Hairy Woodpeckers are contrastingly black and white.
The black wings are checkered with white; the head
has two white stripes (and, in males, a flash of red
toward the back of the head). A large white patch
runs down the center of the black back.

Hairy Woodpeckers hitch up tree trunks and
along main branches. They sometimes feed
at the bases of trees, along fallen logs, and even
on the ground at times. They have the slowly
undulating flight pattern of most woodpeckers. »

Hi Asbed.
Simply amazing in-flight shot. I am impressed with wonderful POV, brilliant exposure of the image and reproduction of the bird feathers against the fine blue sky. Pose of the bird and its wings are awesome. Bravo. Perfect work.

Hi asbed,
you vertical shot is really astonishing. you have been experimenting well and the result is fine too. The blue sku is indeed lovely, you must be lying on the ground I guess.
Beautiful shot and the stripes and pattern of the bird's wing work very well in colour contrast.
well presented.

Hello Asbed,
a great capture of the Hairy Woodpecker taken with very good sharpness and timing, splendid colours, excellent POV.
Best regards

Interesante y espectacular trabajo, con una pose del ave captada en un momento poco habitual y por lo tanto muy oportuno. Un interesante trabajo.
Saludos Asbed: Josep Ignasi.

Bonjour Asbed
Excellente prise de vue a la verticale avec une très bonne netteté

Hello Asbed, Wonderful stop action shot!!
Love the polka dotted outstretched wings. Excellent detail and beautiful B&W bird against the gorgeous blue sky. Well done!!

Bonjour Asbed,
