Time and Nature
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I really have no name for this shot, there is too much going on for me to put a title on it....tonight I walked down the train tracks behind the Vermillion lakes nothing too exciting then I hear the train coming so I pulled over waited for about 20 min and nothing happened, so being impatient I moved a spot then to my surprise 10 ft away from me around some bushes was this dead body of what appears big enough to be elk ribs along with a fully intact vertebrae, still awaiting the train...I decided to set up here and then about 10 more minutes the train came along with the sunset on the mountains and the small pink floating cloud.....Death in a natural environment!|

Waw...what a great shot!
I like the sharp details, great colors and light, lovely mountains from the BG.
Congratulation for this beauty!
This may have been a sad reality for this Elk who came to eat the grain which might have fallen from the train. An interesting capture for sure...love the colour and perspective.
This is a great mix of nature and man made without making the man made object too strong. The find of the bones is a superb bonus and to me it made the photo even more special. I like the soft subdued colors in the FG and how they contrast so well with the warm lit mountain peaks. The train connects the FG with the BG perfectly.
