[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This posting is a Canadian Goose I took yesterday at a local park. The Geese are always the first of the annual spring migration to arrive from the Southern portion of North America and Mexico.

The male on the left was preening the females feathers and then let out a big loud honk to let me stay away from his girlfriend. She just seemed annoyed with him.

Sometimes they can be pests but its always good to see them back home again.

Hello Denis,
A fantastic capture showing these two Canada Geese in a fine pose. Love the facial expression of the one on the left as he seems to be sounding off in loud fashion. Perfectly composed with just the right exposure. Superb job!!

Hello Denis,
A nice capture of two newly-arrived Canada geese in the slushy snow.
I like the calling pose of the one on the left that shows his tongue remarkably well.
Nice composition, sharpness and natural colours.

Hello Denis,
Very vivid and interesting shot. Love the expresssion of the left male Goose, the bird seems to mark its presence honk, honk..
Nice snowy surrounding too, not so easy to make a good shot.
Kind regards
Anne

Hi Dennis,
Excellent moment the one you've caught here.
Is not only the scene, but the details on the usually unseen tongue of the Goose, and the way he stretches the neck to send the warning.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.

JM
