[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I photographed this Eastern Chipmunk after following him until he reached the aperture of its den on the ground. Then I just positionned myself and wait the moment he went out of its hole...

Thanks for commenting it :)

The Eastern chipmunk:

- uses its front paws and sharp teeth to prepare food for storage
- starts to emerge from hibernation during the first warm days of March, sometimes burrowing up through a metre of snow
- does not open its eyes until 31 to 33 days of age
- charms campers and hikers by its boldness and its constant busyness

Bonjour Michel,

Hello Michel,
very lively shot of this chipmunk. The colors are very pleasant and the pattern is so well defined and shown here. The clarity is so excellent with the whiskers so obvious. I like the narrow depth of filed and the green background bokeh!
special capture and lovely view, and not forgetting to thank you on the critque of my underwater shot. Very much appreciated for better shot.

Hello Michel,
This is really beautiful with great detail, colours and definition. Your patience paid off well. Best wishes.

Hello Michel,

Now that is a cute little furball..!
The relation to squirrels is evident, but the well marked stripes tell about its identity...
A fine pose and capture, great details and natural colours!

Bonjour Michel,
Belle photo et très bien faite du point de vue technique, netteté, lumière, details et composition. Interessante bote.

Very cute image of this chipmunk! A well selected aperature assured you of a nice soft background. The ambient lighting plus the supplementary flash created a nice balance of illumination. Well done Michel. :)

Bonjour Michel,

L'animal est bien placée dans le cadrage. la prise de vue permet de voir avec précisition les détails et les couleurs du tamias rayé ou suisse. La bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. bonne journée.
