[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been trying for three years to get a Varied Thrush to sit still long enough to get an image and I feel that I finally got one worth while. It even has a mouthful of worms.

This is a perfect picture of this beautiful bird you have obtained after a long wait, Rick.
The point of view could not have been better to present all the salient features of this bird.
The branch of a tree it is perched on provides the most authentic background.

Hello Rick

And the timing was great because of the worms
on its beak, excellent photo of this Varied Thrush
with fine POV and framing, excellent focus,
sharpness, and details, TFS

Hi Rick,
Perfect shot and with a very good moment captured.
Nice natural colours and sharpness details.
Regards Jiri.

Dear friend Rick,
Thank you so much for contributing this interesting photo to the group. You might ask, what I find so interesting?! How does a bird deal with a mouth full of worms?
How can they catch a second, third etc without losing the first?
Have you ever watched?

The sharp details are informative and I like the depth of field showing the habitat.

Thanks again
Warm greetings from the Tzaneen Dam
