Hello friends,

« The Turkey Vulture uses its sense
of smell to locate carrion. The part
of its brain responsible for processing
smells is particularly large, compared to
other birds. Its heightened ability to
detect odors—it can detect just a few
parts per trillion—allows it to find
dead animals below a forest canopy. »

Hi Asbed.
I like to watch your use of prime lens. Results are very impressive despite relatively shot focus length. Excellent freezing of the bird at a cute pose. Details is great . I also welcome use of high ISO with following resize. Warm regards and compliments.

Nice capture in flight, Asbed.
From this distance, it is difficult to get the eye contact with the bird.
Thanks and regards.

Mon Cher amie,
I am delighted to see you posted this excellent in flight Turkey Vulture and add it to my theme "Animals' Behaviour."
It is fascinating how unusual this bird looks in flight quite different from other raptors !
Was it evening when you photographed the bird or early morning? I love the low sun rays on the right wing! The sharp details against the blue sky are glorious . A difficult shot :-)
Thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings from the Tzaneen Dam in Limpopo, South Africa

Bonjour Asbed,

L'endroit ou est placé l'oiseau dans le cadrage indique le mouvement. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'Urubu ŕ tęte rouge en vol. La lumičre intense empęche de voir certains détails. Bonne journée.

Hi Asbed, you play very well whit the light, the result is an half silhouette and an half comb made my the plumage in backlight, great capture whit the usual excellent details in a minimalistic composition!Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hi Asbed,
Interesting minimalistic composition, and even more interesting light balance. Proper exposure to have details on both the dark and the brighter parts, excellent use of backlight. I don't know how I was able to miss this superb image until now. If I can have a suggestion, use your watermark in the opposite corner than the bird in compos like this, it's more aesthetic and less disturbing (or not disturbing at all, because they together make a diagonal composition).
Best regards, László
