[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is American Falls of the Niagara Falls. One of the 3 falls(Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls) made up of Niagara Falls. The American Falls are 1,060 feet (320 m) wide.

The Niagara Falls are renowned both for their beauty and as a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Managing the balance between recreational, commercial, and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the falls since the 19th century.

I took this image in the early morning and the weather was not at my favorite. The overcast sky would not help to show the dynamitic of the waterfalls.

Hello Anna,
You actually did a nice job of photographing these well known falls considering the overcast sky. This time of the year the sky seems to have a whitish gray look to it quite often as there is usually a lot of cloud cover.
I love the wonderful DOF you managed to obtain which allows us to view the falls in great detail. It has been quite a few years since Rosie and I visited Niagara Falls. Well done!!

Earlier I did see this breathtaking scene but failed to comment but I am back to it dear.This place looks amazing irrespective the angles photographers chose to photograph it and yours an ideal angle which we often see in photos and never ever tire down.The majesty of these falls is unquestionable.The note is very helpful for all those who know and those who do not.TFS, take care,
