[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The male Mallard duck in the Beaver Lake, Vancouver. Frequency of algal blooms is increasing every summer on the lagoon with decreasing levels of zooplankton.

The green color of the water may be due to this problem. Though it could be a photographer's delight, it could create problem to the ecosystem of the lake affecting the birds in the long run.

Hi Bala, the sharpness isn't the best but the composition is truly beautiful! Lovely way to show us this male, bright reflections and perfect capture of its metallic colors too. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Bala,
They are common in our village pond. Quite well captured this male Mallard Duck. But quality could have been better. Focus is soft. But gorgeous reflection. In such moment I prefer to go for vertical framing to get rid from blank space in the frame.
Thanks for sharing,

Though the focus is a bit soft, it is a good composition with the reflection of Mallard on water.
Placing the subject off center would have been a better alternative.

Ciao Bala, great capture of lovely duck, splendid reflections and wonderful metallic colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
