This is Mr. Red who I finally had an opportunity to capture with the 20D and 70-200mm

The issue with this glass is, I can shoot with it in P mode. Not my favorite mode, when I shoot in manual, it doesn't work as well.

Anyhow, this is from the bedroom window.

I'm in no mood for nits, don't like it, don't bother, thanks for looking. ;) :)
I already know the problems, at least I posted one. ;)

What a beautiful capture. You couldn't have asked for a better pose. This is an amazing looking bird. The little catchlight brings the shot alive and the background really enhances the shot. Love it! Thanks.

Hello Mike
Sorry, no time for a decent critique today, but I like the picture very much :)

It is difficult for me to understand the trouble with your lens, because it is a good shot... I like the compostion and the bird pose. And from the bedroom it was comfortable for you Mike ;-)

A beautiful cardinal against the snowy white, Mike.
Excellent POV and focus. I like the way his feathers come out looking powdery. The hints of teal also add to the interest. Great job and TFS. : )

No nits, Mike. Nice shot. Thanx for posting.

Bonjour Mike!

La pose de l'oiseau bien accroché après cette branche est parfaite.Félicitations pour le Bg qui fait bien ressortir l'oiseau.Par contre les couleurs semble terne un peu à mon avis.

Merci pour l'envoie

Very nice capture Mike! Well composed, good sharpness and details. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Mike.
it's a very nice picture with good details, nice colours and well composed. But is it only me who think it's pale and lack of contrast, maybe its my monitor.
Well done, my friend.

Hi Mike!

Nice shot! Sharp and well exposed, I like the balanced compositon, and the shallow DOF.
Good work and TFS.

Hey from the bedroom window it's not a bad shot, it looks good to me. I like shots of the back of birds when possible and this is a very nice position of the cardinal. Well done Mike. :)

Good to see apost from you Mike,
Good detail, colours and sharpness.
Composition, POV and framing are good.
Thanks for posting, Have a great week.

Many thanks for posting this one, Mike.
I would like to be able to imagine that it comes from the window of my room, but, at my age, many illusions disappeared.
Anyway, I can really see it from the window of my screen.
The composition is particularly well successful. I tried a ws... for the fun of it.

Hello Mike, good shot. These chaps certainly stick out a mile...I wonder do they get preyed upon more than drab birds?

Lvoely shot, well done.
