Snowy IV: a portrait
Snowy: "Hi Willie"

The weather is not very favorable here in Quebec. The sun is rarely there. But the days slowly start to lengthen :-)
This morning, I bought a new macro lens for my Canon S2 IS: 58mm Close-up lens 250 D. I posted a WS in which my camera was at F/4.5 full zoom-in (12X). Less than 1cm of DoF. I will test it on snowflakes later... if it snows, naturally. I look forwards for Spring to really test it on my littles friends, the insects. It is thus a story to be followed...

Thank you for looking.

Nice catch!

This is great Luc. Love the wee fella in the big tree. Well seen and very well captured. Love the way he has his tiny hands holding his food. He has all that food for himself. Lucky fella! Well done. Thanks.

Hi Luc, what a dear little fellow, he holds on so carefully with his feet while he feeds food into his mouth with his hands. It's a beautiful shot showing us how tiny he his sitting on the branches that remind me of music blowing in the wind. Quite exquisite, well shown, my friend...

Hi Luc,
An excellent composition. This just proves that not all wildlife shots have to be a closeup. Colors and detail look very good for the overcast light available to shoot in. Well done my friend!

Luc, this is very beautiful.

I like composition a lot. Lovely shades of white and no overexposure at all.

Well done.

Luc, great use of the branches as a strong element of design to present this widely known character. By God, it looks like he was posing! Great capture. Thanks for sharing. Enrique.

Always excellent!
Amazing how they can get so far out on such a thin limb...

Chapeau, Luc!

Hello Luc,
Nice photo and very good composition. TFS.
