[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The light yesterday was glorious! I took this late in the afternoon, about an hour before sunset. A big willow tree reflected the golden light onto the water, and I caught the Mallards paddling along the shoreline, foraging, preening and socializing. This fellow looks like he is stretching, but I think this is actually part of the preening routine.

thats perfect now...the background forms a border...the duck does the necessary and casts its towards border reflection
the duck is swimming into the picture and all is well composed and lighted...great lighting..it is like foil..

Great moment to capture water looking like molten gold. An unusual capture indeed.

Oh my god... It's very impressive picture..
It's like a painting...

Hi Shelley,
A marvelous pic, I love it. Rally nice orange in water but more nice is the duck and its pose. only I found a bit noise, but the photo is great.

Hi Shelley, I like this one a lot. The golden sunset back ground enhances the colors of the duck. Technicalities all taken well care of. Keep on shootin!!
