|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|We were canoeing down this river and moma moose stood up from the grass. She was followed by her newborn shortly afterward. The young one is a little difficult to see in this photo. (right at moma's feet) But in the subsequent photos, the background wasn't as nice.|

Welcome to TN, Janet. Beautiful landscape. The moose is adding an extra interest to your shot, but as it's quite far, the newborn is hardly visible. Also, I feel there's no place here to rest the eye because you have too many things in one shot. Off-centering the moose by some cropping would change this, and remove a symmetry not appealing in nature shots. Nevertheless, you seem to have a lot of material here for beautiful future nature shots.
Welcome! This is a great way to start. This is a lovely image with great array of colours. The reflection captured in the water is very clear. It looks like one of those wonderful photos on a calendar. Nice work.
Great shot, very good composition.
Just a bit sad that the focus is not really good on the moose.
wow, very nice shot!incredible view and very nice reflection.colours are good and so is the compo.i maby would have cropped the bush on the left out.
well done! welcome to TL, looking forward for your pics!

An excellent first performance, Janet.
Nice composition and point of view.
I wish you the most cordial welcome on TN.
In the pleasure to admire your next posts and to read your notes and critics.
Thank you for sharing so beautifull pictures and for the enjoyment which they give us.
What an amazing landscape, Janet. Beautiful composition, detail and lighting.
I have done a ws, to lighten this image up a little and thereby bringing in more detail.
I especially like the panoramic view here so I left it as is. Let me know what you think, and thank you for a great posting.
