Monday, 2006-04-10. Sunny. -3C. Wind 15 km/h. Wind factor: -1C.

I am there before that the first rays of sun enlighten the den. It seems abandoned.
I feel more connected to the world since I found Lucy & Cie. I think that if we sincerely try to understand only one important thing that really counts in life we will know the other important things by rebound.
Mourning Doves are beautifull in slow flight under the first rays of sun.
7:00: Stil no signs from Lucy's family.
The songs of the birds fuse from everywhere. I bathe in their continuous floods.
7:40: No signs.
7:52: Lucy come back from hunting. Thus she had left the den before sunrise.
Breast feeding, games. Lucy goes away. I remain with kids for a while.
8:30: I leave them saying goodbye. I think that by seeing me regularly they were accustomed to my presence. I do not go towards them. They approach me.

On this photo, the kid is sat, listening from what occurs around him, exactly as I often do it. It is thus easy for me to identify myself with him/her.

Thank you for looking... and for reading too.

p.s.: I posted a photo of Lucy as a Workshop.

This is the first of your 'fox-series' posts I have seen and I am thrilled with your pictures so far! I too, am a wildlife lover and have occassionally seen a red fox out in the woods behind where I live. You are so lucky to be able to get so close to them and photograph them in their natural atmosphere.
Please keep sharing these wonderful pictures.

Luc, I think you've outdone yourself with this shot, it's fantastic, perfectly exposed and sharp. You must have been very close to the animal and it's not easily done, it takes a lot of patience, a quality needed in a wildlife photographer.

Fantastic capture, Luc!

One word (short on time but also speechless):

Regards, Petru

Hi Luc,
I have a very busy couple of days. But I can make just enough time for a quick visit to TN.
Great capture, thanks for posting. Have a great week.

This little one has to be called LUC. He is looking and listening to the wonder of creation, taking in all the sights and sounds around him, just like you do my friend.
No need to discuss the photo, the content of it is enough,
Kia ora little fellow,

Tout-à-fait adorable, Luc.

- Si tu veux un ami, apprivoise-moi! dit the renard.

Hi Luc
Pure unadulterated beauty as only the sensitive can observe and capture. This is real nature, in its simplicity yet complexity. Great moment, great capture, great awakening.
The workshop is also beautiful. TFS.
PS. That idea to obtain a notebook was brilliant. I am reading this unfolding saga, episode by episode, and I truly enjoy every minute of it.

Wow Luc.Nice shot of the cub with the color blended nicely with the background. The DOF is great to stand the cub out too.Your notes really make me feel like I was there.Salute your patience as well.
Have a nice day and see ya

wonderful capture. u capture the expression of the fox suparbly.
nice framing and very good colour tone.

Hi Luc, I've looked at your fox shot and am completely awestruck by what you've managed to achieve. If I had to pick one (which I find hard to do) I'd pick this one. It is an unusual and highly appealing shot. I just love it :)

It's such a delight to see so cute and innocent looking little cub. I like the pose you caught the young fellow in and overall sharpness of the image. When I looked at it first it reminded me of impression my little kitty made on me when she first showed up at my house almost four years ago. Regards,
