|We get a fair bit of rainfall where I live, like over 70 inches a year, plus a fairly long growing season at lower elevations, which makes for plenty of greenery on the forest floor.|
This was taken along a trail to a popular sub-alpine lake with some great fishing. This one particular section of trail is surrounded by old growth forest consisting of Fir, Cedar and Hemlock; many of which are hundereds of years old.
