[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was waiting around for a ferry so I grabbed my Olympus Stylus 300 and walked around looking for photo ops. I found this bee busily working over some daiseys beside the road, and this is what I got.
When doing close-ups with my Stylus, I found it most effective to use macro mode but on full optical zoom. I'm taking pics from a couple feet away, but this way I still get nice and close, but with an increased DOF.

Hi Tim, Nice closeup. Daisys are always such a happy flower to photograph. I like your note on being a few feet away and still getting this great photo. I'll have to try it. Janice/Canada

Great shot Tim.
Superb colors and details in this picture.
Excellent composition, POV and BG.

Hi Tim,
Very nice macro shot here. The light seems pretty harsh, but you have managed the light well. Nice solors and good detail. I like the double flowers for filling the frame.
