[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I poked around Minter Gardens again this morning and checked out one of my favorite little creeks that are flowing through the gardens.
I believe I've posted a shot of these falls before, but this one has a bit more DOF than the others I've taken.
Fortunately I'm on a nice little bridge here. I actually would have liked to have gotten the FG falls further down, but the bridge started getting in the way, so I had to crop some of the bottom.
-Converted to JPEG from RAW
-Shadows brightened up for a more even exposure
-A bit of green saturation added
-Cyan desaturated by 30 to make the water a bit more
greyish

Just beautiful.

I love how the leaves are so solid and sharp and the water so soft. Lovely contrast. A really beautiful composition with perfect light

Hello Tim.
You've created a very special effect using a longer shuttertime. The water almost looks like milk. Very nice picture, well done and thanks.

Hello Tim
Another wonderful shot of the Minter Waterfall. Very pretty with all the moss and foliage growing all around. Soft muted light, just a relaxing shot.

Hi Tim,

I'm sure the water was flowing when I viewed this in the Gallery, the detail and colours are superb and you have really captured the movement in the water.

I thnk I like your 1/3 sec exposure a little better than the 1 sec on last waterfall. I'm surprised there isn't even more of a difference. There is good DOF here and I like the path the wter takes...zig zagging down through the frame.

Hi Tim,
Great composition with great details thoughout the photo. You must be lucky to have a beautiful creek next door. The colors are perfect and the shutter speed is spot on, still showing a little structure.

Niek
