Hi Sky,
An excellent shot on this Twelve-spotted Skimmer. The composition and framing look really good. Nice quality light. Good exposure has the colors and detail looking very nice. The clean uncluttered OOF backround really shows the wing detail.

Great shot of this nice dragonfly! Good pov and exposure! I think that if you used an operture of f8.0
instead of f5.0, all the insect would be in focus (including the 4 wings). Nice shot and TFS,

What a stunning close capture. The BG and the single straw give such a sence of peace to the photo that I can fully concentrate on the Skimmer. You've captured beautifully with great control on light and colors.

Jetzt hast Du den Vogel abgeschossen - wow - ich beneide Dich um diesen sagenhaften Anblick - welch eine Schönheit.
Ich bin bei diesen Libellen immer ganz aufgeregt und bete, daß sie sich nicht aus dem Staub macht. So eine habe ich leider noch nie mit eigenen Augen sehen dürfen. Aber ich hatte am Wochenende auch endlich Glück ... Bin happy!

heute mal ein Libelle? Hast Du wunderbar ins Bild gesetzt. Sollte es mich mal an den Ontario-See verschlagen, werde ich doch wohl mal den Botanischen Garten in Augenschein nehmen.;-)

Marvellous capture, very pure composition of this beautiful Damselfly, that is showing like an abstract painting on its wings. Hello Sky,
At first I would like to say I am sorry for delay with comment and critique. Last few days (and the next 10-14) are really bussy for me..
Anyway, finally I am here and I will wrote sometig more that "later" ;)
I really like such king of dragonfly species. Maybe beacuse in Poland there is only one species with "true" colours of wings (Sympetrum pedemontanum).
Nice POV and good DOF.
